Introducing stand-up comedian, bookseller, writer and performer Ben Pope, our new Mirador Group signing.
Ben has been doing stand-up for the best part of a decade, performing regularly across the UK and taking a host of critically-acclaimed shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, most recently The Cut (2025) which received rave reviews from The Scotsman, Evening Standard and The Telegraph, and was nominated for NextUp’s ‘Biggest Award in Comedy’.
Ben has written for Radio 4’s The News Quiz and DMS Are Open and worked with the award-winning NewsRevue. He has supported Nick Mohammed, Kieran Hodgson, and Alex Kealy on tour and MC’s at the Bill Murray, MOTH Club and The Tommyfield.
Combining his love of comedy and literature, Ben is making a name for himself across ‘booktok’, posting bookish content from the independent bookshop he manages, Review in Peckham. Welcome to the Mirador Family @popebenedict!
December Events
1. Not Another Quiz night is back for a festive special at the Clapham Grand. Expect tinseltown-tastic guests and plenty of yuletime antics. If you haven’t booked your Christmas Party grab a bunch of mates and make a night of it.
2. Following a sold out run at the Edinburgh Fringe, Getting Triggy With It, is Matt’s most ambitious and inventive show yet for a London special at the Cambridge Theatre. It weaves together a live AI demonstration using a custom-built LLM trained on his own material as well as a wonderfully satisfying explanation of the mathematics behind the game Dobble – and yes he did print 8,000 mathematically unique flyers for his Edinburgh audience to play Dobble with!
3. The ever popular Operation Ouch Live is back with Jurassic Fart – A Quest to Find the Most Important Fart in History at the Southbank Centre. Join Dr Chris & Xand for a night of fun and flatulence… one for the young (and prehistoric) Dino and Science lovers in your life
4. The Olivier nominated show, ‘Maddie Moate’s Very Curious Christmas’ is back in the West End at The Garrick Theatre. With the clock ticking, Maddie and her young audience must use science, curiosity, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic to help Tinker and Goggles fix the workshop in time for Mrs Claus’ big visit. Packed with festive fun, hands-on experiments, and plenty of giggles this family-friendly show is the perfect Christmas treat for kids and grown-ups as they work together to save the holiday season!”

Eva zu Beck is a leading travel and adventure YouTuber, with a community of 4 million across her social channels and a reputation for top-notch storytelling. From ultra-marathons across the Mongolian steppe and Arctic Wilds to climbing some of the world’s highest peaks, Eva stands out as one of the most inspirational figures in today’s travel space.
This week also marks the release of Superskilled Season 2, a National Geographic series directed and hosted by Eva that explores extraordinary human skills in some of the world’s most remote locations. The first series won her the Wildscreen Panda Award for On-screen Talent this month.
