Ever an open book about her own journey with her mental health, she is an ambassador for charities YoungMinds and Place2Be alongside the Princess of Wales. Katie has recently become a trained counsellor and completed a year-long work placement with the NHS. Katie has appeared on both Morning Live and This Morning to offer viewers counselling advice. Building on her ‘agony aunt’ experience, Katie’s debut book Dear Katie: Real Problems, Real Advice was released in February 2018 and offers warm yet honest advice on the multitude of struggles the UK’s children are facing. As a qualified journalist and keen writer, she has also written for Psychologies Magazine about issues regularly faced by twenty-somethings.
